Guest: Nadeem Haque, author of “The Principles of Animal Advocacy in Islam: Four Integrated Ecognitions” (Society & Animals 19 (2011) 279-290). Nadeem Haque is also the co-author of FROM MICROBITS TO EVERYTHING: A NEW UNIFIED VIEW OF PHYSICS AND COSMOLOGY, as well as other challenging and important works. He is one of a growing number of Islamic thinkers challenging conventional wisdom in various fields using Qur’an as a guide and inspiration – in part because, according to Nadeem, the Qur’an celebrates and encourages the use of human reason.
